Computers Computing was all the rage in 1985 Bought a computer to give it a try At first it was really quite bewildering What to do at the beginning? There was no mouse or Windows then Programs were difficult to understand With the help of a handbook by IBM Tediously did a Mathematics program In 1991, bought one with Windows It solved a lot of computing woes Windows was really neat Programs could run with just a click Winword was a good program Powerpoint took time to comprehend It was also hard to do a spreadsheet Had to first learn it bit by bit Decided to buy a Pentium in 1998 The Internet was just great All kinds of stuff were found there Downloaded whatever without care Got a free program for animation Images began to have locomotion And emailing was very useful Emailers certainly loved it too A school wanted a library database This tough project took many days Thought that it might be useful So had it set up in a few schools Some schools wanted a basic Math program Used IBM Basic to create it with diagrams The author's website is quancc.net is.gd/persiaran is a subset |
